Last Stop Central Valley Cloud Forest. Located only 45 minutes to the airport makes this an easy last stop and one of my favorites. The Poas Volcano is the main highlight of the area and at almost a mile (1.6 km) wide, is the largest active crater in the world.
Stay 2 Night at the Poas Volcano Lodge. Poas Volcano Lodge is a stunning boutique hotel nestled into rolling pastures, with breathtaking views of Poas Volcano and the northern Caribbean Plains. The twelve ensuite bedrooms, some with balconies to enjoy the majestic views and others with their own private garden and outdoor hot tub, are divided between the main Lodge and the outside Garden Rooms.

We have Included Day Pass and Lunch To The Amazing La Paz Waterfall Garden. Located only a short distance from the Lodge, it is a privately owned ecological centre, with numerous attractions including a butterfly observatory, hummingbird garden (where at 4pm you can hand feed the Birds), a serpentarium, and 3.5 km of trails leading to the 5 magnificent waterfalls.
